Where does our clients’ information go?
It stays yours. Your practice decides what is kept and who sees it; boek only processes it to run your bookings, billing and reports, as POPIA requires. It is encrypted in transit, payment and messaging keys are encrypted at rest, and we never sell it or use it for advertising. Parents can ask you for a copy of their family’s data or for it to be deleted.
What do the SMSes cost?
Every plan includes a monthly allowance of messages: each SMS part and each email counts as one. Most practices stay inside it. Beyond the allowance, messages are R0.35 each, or you can move up a plan. You see your usage as it happens.
How do parents pay?
By card or instant EFT through your own Yoco account. Every invoice carries a pay link, the money goes straight to you, and boek marks the invoice paid when it lands. Cash and EFT can be recorded by hand.
Do parents need an app or a password?
No. Parents get an SMS with a short link. When they want to see their bookings, statement or reports, they sign in with their mobile number and a 6-digit code. Nobody has a password to forget, staff included.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. boek is month to month with no contract, and the first month is free.
We have several branches and a head office. Does that work?
Yes. Each branch runs on its own plan with its own practitioners and Yoco account. Head office is free once five or more branches are on paid plans, and can pay for all its branches on one invoice if you prefer.
